To help you make the most of your days in sunny Arizona, we’ve enlisted the help of some of the Valley’s best-loved influencers to share what would make for their perfect day featuring their favorite activities, restaurants more.

We’re launching this series with Becca Booker, who you might know from Instagram as @bbooks ,where she has more than 16,000 followers, or from her popular lifestyle blog accordingtobbooks.com, which focuses on running her business, skincare, beauty tips and book recommendations. In addition to her role as an influencer, Booker is the the owner of Homemade Social, a boutique social media agency specializing in social, digital, and influential campaigns for lifestyle brands.

The Northern-California native received a double-major in Marketing and Journalism from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University and now lives under the sun in Phoenix. Shortly after graduating, Booker created her business and quickly became a respected entrepreneur in the valley.

Booker started her agency to work hands-on with small- to medium-sized lifestyle brands and businesses to implement social media and Facebook advertising strategies to elevate their brand and reach. Dubbed the “modern social media queen” by AZ Foothills, Becca is revolutionizing the social media game and inspiring brands to use innovative tactics to grow their social media. She also is a loving dog mom of Jojo the Heeler mix (who of course has an Instagram) and loves brunch, podcasts and a good glass of Zinfandel.

Morning

“On a perfect day, I’ll start my morning with a walk to LGO with my boyfriend and pup, Jojo, for a morning latte and their Parisian eggs. While the weather is still nice outside, we get a table on the outdoor patio and love to people watch! It’s always busy on the weekends, but the service is fast and the ambiance is great!”

La Grande Orange (lovingly known to locals as LGO) is an Arcadia hotspot that describes itself as a “curated general store, wine shop pizzeria and breakfast community spot.” The space is known for its great coffee and pastries, grab-and-go food options and on-trend marketplace. It’s always bustling with people and is a great place to pick up a gift, grab a quick meal, meet up with friends or run into your neighbors.

Afternoon

“During the spring and summer months, I love going to the local resorts and taking advantage of their pools (and pool service!). The pool at the Mountain Shadows is one of my favorites and they have amazing food and pina coladas! You can also rent one of their cabanas for an additional fee.”

Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley is an oasis in the desert known for its stunning pool and deck with an awe-inspiring view of the mountains. There are eight private, shaded cabanas that can accommodate up to ten guests and include lounge seating, a television, fresh fruit platter, water and your choice of house rose or beers. Weekday rates start at $125 for non-hotel guests until March, then start at $195 on weekdays from March through September.

Evening

“If I have any friends visiting from out of town, I’ll make a reservation at the Century Grand train bar! It shows video recordings from a real train and makes you feel like you’re traveling through Colorado. The cocktails are a little pricey, but it’s an amazing experience. For a more affordable happy hour, I’ll check out From The Rooftop, a rooftop bar in Downtown Phoenix!”

Century Grand in Arcadia is a relatively new spot known for its fun, 1920s train-ride themed experience and delicious, large selection of cocktails. Guests can choose between the Century Grand dining or bar experience, the Platform 18 train simulator bar experience or the Grey Hen Whiskey Bottle Shop & Classic Cocktails area.

“For dinner, I’m a sucker for sushi. Bamboo Sushi just opened at the Biltmore, and their sustainability-focused sushi is amazing!”

Bamboo Sushi opened earlier this year in central Phoenix and is already becoming a local favorite due to its delicious sushi and commitment to serving sustainably caught, humanely raised and naturally grown fish. You can even see where the restaurant is sourcing from every day on the Bamboo Sushi website!
