High-End Events to Make You Feel Fancy in #PHX

 

 

Fall weather is finally here along with Phoenix’s thriving event season, which means nonstop dinners, galas, festivals and parties. Trying to attend them all would be exhausting, which is why your #FrayLife fam rounded up some of the best prestigious events to put your hard-earned cash toward.

Phoenix Fashion Week 

October 3-5

As the state’s most respected fashion event, Phoenix Fashion Week is a can’t-miss for style enthusiasts. While the organization hosts events all year long, it will culminate with this three-day annual event at Talking Stick Resort featuring designs by up-and-coming Phoenix designers ranging from classic to contemporary. 

No Kid Hungry Fundraiser

October 7

This third annual Phoenix dinner will once again raise funds to fight childhood hunger nationwide through No Kid Hungry. Proceeds will benefit children in need by providing nutritious food and educating their families on how to cook healthy, affordable meals. This event is particularly intriguing as it’s hosted at The Yard by culinary heavyweight Sam Fox, who’s involved with favorites like True Food Kitchen, North Italia, The Henry and Zin Burger. Guests can look forward to a cocktail reception, a multi-course seated dinner and a live auction. 

Taste of the Biltmore

October 10

Taste of the Biltmore has the nostalgia of your neighborhood block party with all the culinary talent of your Phoenix favorites like Short Leash Hot Dogs, Nico Heirloom Kitchen, OHSO and Bobby-Q BBQ Restaurant and Steakhouse. This 13th annual event will benefit Ryan House, which supports children in their end of life care. 

Toast & Roast to Chef Vincent Guerithault 

October 11 

Food enthusiasts know the Valley’s go-to spot for French cuisine is Vincent’s on Camelback. To celebrate award-winning Chef Vincent’s 50-year career, the community is hosting a multi-course dinner full of his top menu items such as steamed Maine lobster, beef tenderloin and duck consommé. Guests will include Arizona celebrities like Jon Kyl, Jerry Colangelo, Mark Tarbell and Terry Goddard. 

Azcentral Wine & Food Experience 

November 2-3 

Arizona is becoming a mecca for fantastic food festivals, but the creme de la creme is the azcentral Wine & Food Experience. Their celebrity lineup includes Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski, master sommelier Ian Cauble and Total Bellas’ Brie and Nikki Bella. Guests can look forward to showcases presented by local chefs, cooking demonstrations and culinary seminars at Salt River Fields. 

Joy Bus Gala 

November 10

The Joy Bus’ Motown-themed gala isn’t your average fundraising event. It’s a lively, fun evening at Hotel Valley Ho with DJs, live music and a four-course dinner courtesy of the nonprofit’s founder and Food Network award-winning chef, Russell La Casce. This year’s event will present a Lifetime Achievement Award to Arizona Diamondbacks’ president and CEO, Derrick Hall. Plus, proceeds return to the Joy Bus, which delivers healthy meals to homebound cancer patients in Phoenix. 

ARTrageous Gala 

December 7

The Starry Night ARTrageous Gala will celebrate 20 years of the Valley’s most breathtaking and thrilling museum, the SMoCA. This event will feature over-the-top outfits and decor, a DJ, small bites, plenty to drink and the opportunity to explore the museum’s cutting edge exhibits.
