Cheers to The Best Happy Hour Spots in Phoenix For Every Day of the Week

While going to a restaurant and grabbing a drink or bite to eat is fine any time, knowing you can save a few bucks at the same time somehow makes everything taste better.

No matter what your schedule is or what day of the week, having a place to go and enjoy Happy Hour is important. We’ve compiled a list of some great places to check out – where there’s good vibes, great libations, and most of all, the deals.

And yes – we have the scoop on deals for EVERY day of the week, Saturday and Sunday included. You’re welcome.

Monday – St. Francis

We all know Mondays can be rough, so being able to hit up a Happy Hour after work makes the day just a little bit easier to get through. St. Francis in Central Phoenix knows how to do it, offering $5 cocktails (including specialty – check out the almond margarita), half off glasses of wine and half off cans of beer from 4-6pm. They also knock a few bucks off some of the entrees and offer appetizers at a reduced rate.

Tuesday- Postino Winecafe

This list just wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t talk about the $20 deal at Postino. While they offer a “normal” happy hour till five where you can get $5 glasses of wine and pitchers of beer, we have to talk about how you can get a board of bruschetta (the salami pesto is to die for) and a bottle of wine for only $20 after 8pm on Tuesdays. The board of bruschetta is $15 alone, so it’s like getting a bottle for $5. Not bad.

Wednesday- Hula’s Modern Tiki

Locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale

While Hula’s Modern Tiki offers a great happy hour Monday-Friday from 3:30-6:30pm, we think you should go there Wednesday so you can enjoy the deals ALL NIGHT LONG. We love the blend of tropical and American flavors. All of their appetizers are $6, from Crispy Fish Bites to Calamari. You can also snag signature cocktails for $6, draft beers for $4, and glasses of wine for $1 off.

Thursday- Mellow Mushroom

Locations across the Valley

With 35 craft beers on tap, Mellow Mushroom is a great place to get a pizza fix and hang out for Happy Hour. They don’t skimp on the discounts. From 3-6pm and again during reverse happy hour from 10pm-2am, all alcohol is ½ off and you can grab some yummy appetizers for half off as well. You really can’t go wrong with their pretzel bite, made with their signature dough and finished with garlic and parmesan. Our mouths are watering just thinking about them.

Friday- The Vig

The vibe at the Vig is half of what makes it worth visiting – all of the varied locations have a shared intimate setting that makes it a great Happy Hour spot after a long day at work. From 3 to 6pm, enjoy “Vignature” cocktails for only $6, wine and beer specials, and munchies (like edamame, wings, sliders) at a good price. We recommend the Broken Irish (jameson, luxardo apricot, basil, simple syrup, and lemon) – but you can’t go wrong with any choice.

Saturday- District American Kitchen and Wine Bar

320 North 3rd St.

Featuring farm-to-table American cuisine made with sustainably sourced ingredients, District American Kitchen offers a nice happy hour on a Saturday night (when many places decide to limit HH to weekdays only). From 3 to 7pm, you can get a selection of appetizers for half off, glasses of Sangria or House Wine for only $5, and all pints of local craft beer are just $3. We personally don’t think you can go wrong with the refreshing White Peach Sangria, especially in the summer.

Sunday- Roaring Fork

4800 North Scottsdale Rd.

Their website boasts an “award-winning happy hour” – and we would agree that offering happy hour daily is a reason to celebrate. You can come in on Sunday from 4-7pm and get the same great deals that you could get during the week.  You can get tortilla soup or a selection of salads for just $6, appetizers at a discounted rate, and a handful of “roaring” cocktails for only $5. Also, wine-by-the-glass deals for just $5. This should help you prepare for Monday, right?
