Have you set your New Year’s resolutions? If so, it’s likely they either relate to saving money or getting fit. To help you reach those goals, we rounded up a few of our top favorite workouts – from yoga to boxing – that will get you fit without breaking the bank, either with a free trial to make sure you love it before handing over your hard-earned dough or complimentary drop-in classes you can look forward to all year long.

Love a competitive, high-energy and cardio-based workout? Then the super-popular Cyclebar studio is worth checking out! Spin classes have become increasingly popular, but this one takes your workout to the next level with a real time leaderboard and comprehensive stats to help you track your improvement over time. Don’t let that scare you though, one of the best things about spin is you can go at your own pace and set your own resistance. Plus, the club-like lighting and high-energy music will keep you distracted through all that pedaling. Spirit of Yoga

Location in: Tempe
Love yoga but can’t commit up to $30 per class? We get you. At Spirit of Yoga, not only is your first class free, you can enjoy the ‘YTT Classes’ free any time. These are classes taught by students in the 200-hour yoga teacher training program in order to get their hours for graduation. All the studio asks is that you complete a participant feedback form at the end of class. If the YTT class times don’t work for you, the super welcoming and calming studio offers all classes at an affordable rate – just $9 per class for students and $12 per class for everyone else, with other discounts available for seniors and veterans.

Jabz Boxing Fitness for Women

Locations in: across the Valley
If you’re a woman looking to take your fitness AND self-defense to the next level in 2020, then boxing is a great workout to try. Jabz offers an incredibly supportive and welcoming environment that will challenge you physically with 45 minutes of cardio, strength training, plyometrics and of course – boxing. The location changes regularly, but we love yoga on the lawn and up on the patio overlooking the mountains most! After the class is over, head inside to enjoy glasses of wine for just five bucks.
