We’re here to help you capture that feeling with a list of five of the most interesting, beautiful cemeteries in Phoenix.

Paradise Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum

This family-owned and operated property is a beautifully manicured place perfect for quiet reflection as you stroll among the graves, looking out over the ducks and geese that occupy the picturesque pond, and tour the mausoleum, which is elegantly decorated with mementos and floral arrangements left in memory of loved ones lost. Various statues and sculptures dot the property, further enriching the already elegant landscape. 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 9300 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ; messingermortuary.com

One of the only remnants of a nearby ghost town that has since been demolished, this is absolutely a spot worth visiting. Congress, AZ

Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery

With 15 different gardens, dotted with ponds and water features, Green Acres has become one of the most notable cemeteries in the area since its establishment in 1957.
