Originally scheduled for September of 2021, we’re sure you’ll walk away from this rescheduled performance agreeing that it was totally worth the wait. Kehlani, Rico Nasty, and Destin Conrad
Kehlani’s”It Was Good Until it Wasn’t” was a huge piece of work to drop right at the start of Summer 2020, a moody, evocative work that helped tons of people through a very strange COVID Summer and also rocketed them to another level of fame. They followed up that massive record with “Blue Water Road,” released earlier this year, a lighter affair that incorporates folk and chamber pop influences, praised for it’s unique sonic palate and unabashedly queer themes. Kehlani’s joined by the electrifying Rico Nasty and frequent Kehlani collaborator Destin Conrad for the tour, a stacked lineup that rewards folks who make a point to show up early. $49.50-$64.50; 8pm ; 400 West Washington Street Phoenix, AZ; livenation.com // @arizonafinancialtheatre

Little Jesus, Divino Niño, and Marinero, at Crescent Ballroom
Mexico City’s Little Jesus and Chicago’s Divino Niño are a perfectly matched double bill, two artists who infuse dreamy indie pop with Latin influences to thrilling ends. Divino Niño are touring in support of their forthcoming LP Last Spa on Earth, while Little Jesus don’t have a new record out, they’re just getting back out on the road to share their self-described “tropipop” sound with as many folks as possible. Rounding the evening out is a perfect opener, San Francisco-based Latin indie pop artist Marinero whose 2021 album was a hidden gem. $23-$33; 7pm; 308 N. 2nd Avenue Phoenix AZ; crescentphx.com // @CrescentPHX

Kikagaku Moyo and Los Ésplifs, at Crescent Ballroom
After a decade spent as one of the best psych rock bands in the world, Kikagaku Mayo have decided to go on indefinite hiatus, saying goodbye to their fans with one last tour. They released their final LP, Kimono Island earlier this year, a critically acclaimed work of boundary-pushing psychedelia, incorporating elements of folk, tropicalia, and pop into a sprawling tapestry of sound. Their live shows are must-see ordeals, and you’ve only got one more chance to see them in the Phoenix area, so make it count! $25; 7pm; 308 N. 2nd Avenue Phoenix AZ; crescentphx.com // @CrescentPHX
