And what better way to get into the spirit than visiting a pumpkin patch? Sure, you might be wearing shorts and a tee-shirt, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy hayrides, corn mazes and pumpkin picking.

MacDonald’s Ranch

MacDonald’s Ranch is a true farm, and pumpkin picking is just the beginning of the activities you can enjoy here. To make a full day of it, check out the BBQ food truck, pet horses, wander through the hay maze or visit the petting zoo. Tolmachoff Farms is the go-to pumpkin destination of the West Valley with its train ride, huge selection of pumpkins, pedal car track and 6-acre corn maze. Plus, for Halloween thrill-seekers, the farm offers a haunted corn maze that’s sure to scare you year after year.

Schnepf Farms is a must-see destination year-round for everything from peach picking to vegetable planting, and during the fall, there’s no shortage of pumpkins at the award-winning Pumpkin and Chili Party. Partygoers can also enjoy everything from a BMX show and roller coasters to bonfires and marshmallow roasting. Oh, and of course, there’s plenty of chili.

This beloved family farm transforms into a pumpkin paradise in October with mini-golf, mule-pulled wagon rides, train rides, duck races and a 7-acre corn maze. Plus, the farm announces themed days throughout the season like ‘Adopt a Pet’ day and ‘Pumpkin Paint and Take’ day.
