It’s the perfect opportunity to buy a festive sweater (there are so many to choose from these days) and party it up with friends or even meet new people in the community. There is no shortage of ugly sweater parties to check out this year, so we’ve rounded up a few that we think you should have on your radar.

Caliente Tuesdays – Ugly Sweater Party

Tuesday, December 18th, 8pm-12am
GypsyBar, Phoenix
Get your dancing shoes on for the Christmas series, Caliente Tuesdays over at Gypsy Bar in Phoenix. You can dance to Salsa, Merengue, and much more with music by DJ Johnny. The Salsa class is from 8-9pm followed by general dancing from 9pm-12am. Wear your ugliest sweaters and dance the night away with no cover.

Pedal Haus Brewery 3 Year Anniversary & Ugly Sweater Party

Wednesday, December 19th, 7-10pm
Pedal Haus Brewery, Tempe
While the free VIP tickets are no longer available on the event page, this ugly sweater party celebrating Pedal Haus Brewery’s 3-year Anniversary is still open to the public. The celebration features happy hour pricing at the brewery from 8-10pm and live music from local folk/punkgrass band, Haymarket Squares. The attendee with the ugliest sweater wins a $100 gif, and second places takes home a $50 prize. Free to attend.

Shady Park Ugly Sweater Party

Friday, December 21st, 7:30pm-12am
Shady Park, Tempe
It’s the third annual ugly sweater party over at Shady Park in Tempe. If you’re a music fan, this is the perfect event to attend. Celebrate the holidays with several musical acts, including Sunset Voodoo, Scattered Melodies, and Bob Rabbit. Sunset Voodoo and Scattered Melodies will appeal to the rockers, while you can get your electronic/dance fix from Bob Rabbit. Doors open at 7:30pm, and tickets start at $9.28 with fees for early bird purchasers.

Chopper John’s & Tito’s Ugly Sweater Party

Saturday, December 22nd, 12pm-5pm
Chopper John’s, Phoenix
Maybe you’re not a night owl– you can still get in on the fun with this day party! Chopper John’s in Phoenix is hosting an Ugly Sweater Party that is sure to be fun and benefits the YWCA Meals on Wheels program (for dogs and cats). There will be a $1 donation for every vodka sold. Take photos with a Tito’s Airstream, participate in an ugly sweater contest, enjoy music, and get a chance to win prizes. Free to attend.
